Business & sport for bushfire recovery pledge

We’re supporting tourism businesses directly impacted by the recent bushfires in East Gippsland and North East Victoria by encouraging organisations to join a pledge to take their business to the regions.

The 'Business & Sport for Bushfire Recovery’ program calls on business, sport and government agencies to commit to holding meetings, events and other business activities in bushfire affected regions in the next six to 18 months, with more than 220 leading organisations already signed up.

Learn more about this initiative and how to make the pledge.

A range of Victoria’s creative and cultural organisations have also signed up to the Victorian Government’s ‘Bushfire Pledge’, committing to hosting meetings, events or other activities in bushfire affected regions over the next six months.

The program will directly help local businesses and people in fire affected communities recover from the economic impact of the fires.

You can access a list of businesses who have pledged to host upcoming events in regional Victoria on the Business Events Victoria website.
