A slow internet connection or patchy mobile coverage can make it difficult to run a business.

Connecting Victoria is helping more businesses to take advantage of digital opportunities with more reliable, better value broadband in more places, including popular shopping streets and business parks.

For example, we are partnering with NBN Co to give up to 10,000 Victorian businesses in Hamilton, Portland, Wonthaggi-Inverloch, Warragul, Colac, Benalla, Dromana, Pakenham North, Pakenham South, Lara and Cranbourne South access to faster and more reliable fibre internet through Enterprise Ethernet services.

More information on the Enterprise Ethernet services and coverage areas is available through NBN Co’s website .

These are the first of many Connecting Victoria projects.

In regional Victoria and outer suburban Melbourne, better broadband and mobile coverage has the potential to transform businesses, opening up a range of opportunities for growth, access to new markets and suppliers.

A fast, reliable connection supports access to digital productivity tools such as cloud-based storage and automatic invoicing. It speeds up point-of-sale systems and makes uploads and downloads easy and efficient at any time of the day.

We will engage with businesses throughout the program. Visit Engage Victoria for updates.
