Showcase celebrates manufacturing excellence in Victoria

Participants at the Manufacturing showcaseMore than 650 manufacturers, industry bodies and agencies came together in Wantirna South for the annual Victorian Manufacturing Showcase, celebrating Victoria’s current and emerging manufacturers.

The Victorian Government event, held on Tuesday 22 October, promotes Victoria’s exceptional manufacturing capability and gives attendees and exhibitors ways to build their networks and grow locally and internationally.

Participant at the Manufacturing showcaseThe showcase represented high-growth manufacturing sectors in Victoria including construction, defence, med tech, pharmaceuticals, transport and food and fibre.

This year’s event attracted a record number of exhibitor and attendee registrations, the biggest in its six-year history and was hosted in partnership with the Industry Capability Network (Victoria).

Nominations for the 2020 Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame were also announced at the event, encouraging Victorian businesses and individuals to nominate from 1 November.
