Dates for Victoria's 2018 Regional Assemblies have been set and will be held from early May to mid-July.

The first Assembly will be in Kyneton in the Loddon Campaspe region on Thursday 3 May with details and registrations available via the dedicated Engage website.

The Regional Assemblies began in 2016 and are the cornerstone of Victoria's nine Regional Partnerships' year-round consultations with their communities. The Partnerships then feed the voices of their communities directly into the heart of Government.

The nine Regional Partnerships are Mallee, Wimmera Southern Mallee, Great South Coast, Central Highlands, Loddon Campaspe, Barwon, Goulburn, Ovens Murray and Gippsland.

In 2017, more than 2,000 people attended Regional Assemblies, helping each Regional Partnership identify and refine their region's priorities.

Over the coming months, communities from Gippsland in the east to Great South Coast in the west, will get the chance to sit down with their Partnerships, to hear what has been achieved and delivered to date, and to then explore some of the Partnerships' identified priorities, and the responses to them, in greater detail.

Take note of dates on the Regional Development Victoria website and keep an eye out when registrations are open for regions near you.
