About us
Our purpose
The Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions is firmly focused on growing our state's economy and ensuring it benefits all Victorians - by creating more jobs for more people, building thriving places and regions, and supporting inclusive communities.
Established on 1 January 2019, our work supports seven ministers, spans 15 portfolios and operates across metropolitan, regional and international offices. We also oversee various public entities, including public corporations, regulatory authorities and specialist boards.
